Privacy policy

Who we are

Nandi Account is an accounting service run by Nandi Solution Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who can see it and what you can ask us to do with it.

We follow the Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018) and the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 (2008) of Nepal. For any privacy question, write to info@nandisolutions.com or call +977 9768581342.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, password (kept only as a secure one-way hash, never as plain text) and your language choice.
  • Company details: the company name, PAN or VAT number, address, phone number and email address that you enter.
  • Accounting records: vouchers, bills, customers and suppliers, items, bank lines and attached files that you or your team add. These records belong to your company.
  • Security records: when you sign in and out, your IP address, your browser type and a history of the changes made in the app.
  • Messages to us: what you write when you contact us or book a demo, including your phone number.
  • Website analytics: only if you allow analytics cookies on our public website. See the cookie policy.

We collect only what we need to run the service. We do not ask for sensitive details such as religion, caste, health or political views.

Why we use it

  • to create and run your account and your company's books;
  • to keep the service secure, stop misuse and find the cause of problems;
  • to answer your questions and send messages you need, such as password reset links;
  • to meet our legal duties, such as keeping records that the law asks us to keep;
  • to improve our public website, only when you allow analytics cookies.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your accounting records for advertising.

Your consent

We collect personal information only with your consent and after telling you why we need it. You give consent when you create an account, send us a form or allow analytics cookies.

You can take back your consent at any time by writing to info@nandisolutions.com. If you do, we may no longer be able to run your account.

How long we keep it

  • Account and company details: while your account is open.
  • Accounting records: while your company uses the service. After you close your account, we keep them only for as long as Nepal law requires, and then delete them.
  • Security records and the history of changes: for as long as we need them to keep the service secure and to meet the audit rules of the Inland Revenue Department.
  • Messages to us: until your request is dealt with, and after that only for as long as the law requires.

Who can see it

  • people you invite into your company, with the permissions you give them;
  • our staff, only when they need to help you or keep the service running, and always under a duty of confidentiality;
  • companies that help us run the service, such as hosting in Nepal, email delivery and backups, only for that work;
  • Google, for website analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies;
  • government bodies such as the Inland Revenue Department, only when the law requires it or when you ask us to send data for you, for example for electronic billing.

We never give one company's data to another company.

Where it is kept and how we protect it

Your data is stored on servers in Nepal. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep passwords only as secure hashes, limit who in our team can reach your data, record every change and take regular backups. Each company's records are kept apart from every other company's records.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • show you the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your personal information, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • stop using it for a purpose you did not agree to.

Write to info@nandisolutions.com. Before we act on a request, we may ask you to show that the information is about you. Company owners can also export or correct company records from inside the app.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. Analytics cookies are used only on our public website, and only if you allow them. The cookie policy lists every cookie.

Children

The service is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we change the "last updated" date on this page. If a change is important, we tell account owners by email or in the app before it takes effect.
